Installation of glass tile must be done correctly: never cut corners, be patient and have proficiency. There’s a lot that goes into installing glass tile, all walls must be plumb and substrate must be a very flat surface before beginning your beautiful project. Remember most glass tile is transparent so I RECOMMEND spreading the mortar thin-set in one direction to have up to 100% coverage and prevent seeing flaws from the other side. There is special glass tile cutting saw blades, please use these, they are well worth the price, ( good blades anywhere from $70 to $120.00 ) and they will help in reducing your glass tile from chipping and breaking.
